Around The World is the fifth track on Nikka Costa’s third album (as an adult artist) Can’tneverdidnothin’. It was written and produced by Justin Stanley and Nikka Costa. Costa has confirmed that Prince plays guitar uncredited on the track.

While specific recording dates are not known, it is assumed to have been recorded in 2004, at Justin Stanley’s Stellasound, Los Angeles, California. It is likely that Prince’s guitar part was either recorded at the same studio in February or March 2004, or at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota at some other point in 2004.
