No (a.k.a. Eye No or I No) is the first song on Prince's tenth album Lovesexy. In 1989, a live version was included on the Lovesexy Live 1 VHS, taken from the 9 September, 1988 live TV broadcast.

The song's music is largely taken from The Ball (see The Ball for full details of that track). The music was largely re-recorded with his new band, however (and the lyrics are entirely different). Initial tracking of No took place on 11 December, 1987 at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN (on the same day as Positivity). The 'party' segue from The Ball to Joy In Repetition as included on the aborted 1986 Crystal Ball album was kept between No and Alphabet St. (and again in 1990 between We Can Funk and Joy In Repetition). The track marks the first released appearance of Ingrid Chavez on a Prince recording.
