Initial filming was done on 27 & 28 June 1987 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. On 29 June more footage was filmed in Antwerp, Belgium. Footage shot in Paris on 16 June 1987 was also used. most of the footage used in the film however was done in the third week of July at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, MN, lip syncing to material originally recorded in Rotterdam. | |||||||||
