I Believe I Love U is an unreleased track originally recorded with only piano in mid-1987 at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. It is likely that the track was re-recorded in the studio at some point in 1987 or 1988, although this is unconfirmed. The track was mixed on 25 September 1988, along with other tracks intended for Graffiti Bridge and Rave Unto The Joy Fantastic, suggesting that it was being considered for one of the albums, but it was not included on any known configuration of either (including the Graffiti Bridge album configuration made the same day), and is not known to have been included on any other project. The track is a simple love song, which remains unreleased.
