The video was filmed in the morning of 8 June 1995 at the Glam Slam South, Miami, Florida, where Prince was giving shows to celebrate his ’second' birthday as (some scenes for the P. Control video were also shot that same evening). Additional shooting took place in Spring-Summer 1995 at various locations in Saint-Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota.
