Dance To The Beat is an unreleased song by The Time played live a few times in early 1982, and believed to have been written by Prince. Prince guested with The Time on the song on 16 February 1982 at The Roxy Theatre, West Hollywood and on 8 March 1982 at First Avenue, Minneapolis. It is not known if the track was recorded in the studio, and is designed as a simple upbeat track to warm up the audience and get them dancing. It is not known if the track was intended for their next album What Time Is It? or any other project. The track remains unreleased.
