Calabama is an unreleased song which was supposedly the title track of an unreleased album Prince was working on before Musicology. Calabama was played before an audience of VIP ticket holders at Paisley Park Studios as part of the 2024 Celebration activities. During the playback a recording date of 24 June 2003 was mentioned. The upbeat song features a hook consisting of the lyrics of ‘all the pretty ladies clap your hands’. Eventually Calabama segues in a rap that is the base for Prince And The Band. With the majority of Calabama being an original song, it was given its own entry.
