Get Wild was the first single to be released from the album Exodus by The New Power Generation, released in the UK and in Europe only on 20 March 1995. Around December 1994, a promo single was released for the song in the US, but this was connected to the Prêt-A-Porter soundtrack album, and contained the soundtrack album’s version of the track.
The lead track of the European single was titled Get Wild (Single Version), but this was identical to the version from Exodus (the title may have been used to distinguish it from the Prêt-A-Porter soundtrack version).
The single contained a unique instrumental version of The Most Beautiful Girl In The World with saxophone by Eric Leeds, titled Beautiful Girl.
The maxi-single, released two weeks later, contained several Get Wild remixes. Following the trend of The Beautiful Experience, the remixes were titled only by their remix name (eg. Money Maker rather than Get Wild (Money Maker)).
The single reached number 19 in the UK Gallup Singles Chart.
