Cool Love is the ninth track on Sheena Easton’s ninth album The Lover In Me. Eight months after the album’s release, it was included as the b-side on some versions of 101, the album’s third single. It was written and produced by Prince (with writing credited as Joey Coco).
While specific recording dates are not known, basic tracking took place in May 1988 at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
