Fallin’ is a track originally recorded by Alicia Keys from her 2001 debut album Songs In A Minor, and was released as a single the same year. It was written by Alicia Keys. Prince has played the song live regularly as part of a medley of The Question Of U/The One/Fallin’ from 2002-2010, with a female vocalist singing lead vocals on Fallin’, and released a live version of the medley (taken from 7 April 2004, Qwest Center, Omaha, NE, USA) as audio and video on the NPG Music Club in 2004, with Candy Dulfer singing lead vocals on Fallin’. He is not known to have recorded a studio version. Additional Information See also Trivia NPG Music Club The album Songs In A Minor, from which ’’’Fallin’’’’ originated, also contained a cover version of Prince’s How Come U Don’t Call Me Anymore (renamed ’’How Come U Don’t Call Me’’), which brought a lot of attention to the song and to Prince’s relevance to younger artists. This song is a cover version of another artist’s song. As such, any cover version of this song should not be considered a cover version of Prince’s version, but of the original, and so these are not listed here.
