I’m Leaving L.A. is an unreleased track recorded as a home recording in the second half of 1978 or 1979 at Prince’s France Avenue Home Studio in Edina, Minnesota. The lyrics include the line "I’m going to Rome, gonna buy me a home. You see, I’m sick and tired of playing around, gotta settle down." Interestingly, Prince had never lived in Los Angeles (the "L.A." referred to in the title) until years after this track was written. The track remains unreleased.
