Five Women was a single by Joe Cocker released in 1992 in Europe only from his thirteenth album Night Calls.
Seven singles in total were released in different countries to promote the Night Calls album which itself had been released in three different editions in different territories in a few months. The album version of Five Women was previously included on the second disc of the Maxi-single CD edition of Now That The Magic Has Gone in the UK. The Five Women single contained an edit of the track by Chris Lord-Alge not available elsewhere. The B-side was a remix of his 1987 popular cover of Ray Charles’ Unchain My Heart.
The single did not chart.
Seven years later, Prince’s version of Five Women (titled 5 Women) was also released as a (promotional) single in Germany.
