This Crazy Life Of Mine begins with an Intro as the second track on Chaka Khan’s tenth solo studio album Come 2 My House; the song itself is the third track. The song was written and produced by Chaka Khan (lyrics) and Prince (as  ) (music). In May 1999, the song was released as a promotional single in the US.
While specific recording dates are not known, basic tracking took place between November 1997, and January 1998, at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Orchestra overdubs and the recording of Intro by Clare Fischer took place soon after, most likely at O’Henry Sound Studios in Burbank, California. It was included as the third track on a February 1998 configuration of Come 2 My House before the tracklist was revised for release, but it is not known if the intro was tracked separately at this point.
Although Intro is tracked separately, it is included in this entry as it is clearly the opening of the track itself.
