Pheromone is a Prince / video that was aired as part of the The Beautiful Experience TV-special. Like the other videos from this program, it is interspersed with scenes with Nona Gaye, this time simply watching the video on her computer and enjoying the song.
In Pheromone, Prince is in a cabaret watching (inserted footage of) the 1993 Glam Slam Ulysses stage-show (the "Scene IV - Circe" segment) and a dance performance by Mayte (much like in the Acknowledge Me video). Prince is also shadow dancing throughout the video.
The video was not used as a promotional tool for Come when the song was included on the album released four months after the initial broadcast of The Beautiful Experience. Of note, the video starts like the album version with an excerpt of Poem.
