Somebody’s Somebody is a Prince (as ) video released for broadcast. The song itself was included on The Holy River single and released as a promotional item.
The video was shot during the Love 4 One Another Charities Tour stops in Washington DC and New York City, New York in January 1997. It features footage of fans outside the venue for shows at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. and the Roseland Ballroom in New York City (on 10 and 11 January 1997 respectively). Concert footage of this New York show and one in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 7 January 1997 are also included in the video.
Somebody’s Somebody shows Prince not fully enjoying his time on the tour without Mayte as he misses her. He wishes that she was with him in concert, parties and hotel rooms.
