Better With Time is the seventh track on Prince’s 34th studio album MPLSound.
Recording dates and studio are unknown, but it is likely that the track was recorded between September 2008 and January 2009 at either Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota or 77 Beverly Park Ln. in Beverly Hills, California. According to an interview with Prince conducted by Ann Powers of the Los Angeles Times, the song was dedicated to actress Kristin Scott Thomas, who played Mary Sharon in Under The Cherry Moon.
Although it was not released as a commercial or promotional single, the song received some airplay and charted on various Billboard charts (see the Trivia section for details).
