Blackberry Jam is jam recorded on 4 May 1986 at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California. It features the same players as In A Large Room With No Light, recorded in the same session. The so-called Blackberry Jam was more running for ideas from which songs might emerge than a song itself (as was the case with the "Paisley Jam", "Jams" and "Everybody’s Jam" sessions in late 1985-early 1986). No specific song is known to have been created from this jam. Another session, called Blueberry Jam took place two days later with almost the same line-up.
