Much like Blackberry Jam, recorded two day prior, Blueberry Jam is another jam recorded at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California on 6 May 1986. It features the same players as Blackberry Jam, except for this session Levi Seacer, Jr. was replaced by Prince’s childhood friend and former band mate Andre Cymone on bass guitar. The jam was more running for ideas from which songs might emerge than a song itself (as was the case with the "Paisley Jam", "Jams" and "Everybody’s Jam" sessions in late 1985-early 1986). No specific song is known to have been created from this jam.
