Born Free is an unreleased song mentioned in an early draft (from October 1987) of Graffiti Bridge. It is not known if the track had been previously recorded, or if Prince had simply had the idea for the song then.
In this version of the script, Born Free was supposed to be sung by the character "Almost" (to be played by Dr Fink). The track is described as a Frank Sinatra-style song over a funky groove. It was not included on any known configuration of the Graffiti Bridge album, however, and the track remains unreleased.
