Cat Attack is an unreleased song by Cat recorded between November, 1988, and January, 1989, at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA, for use on her planned solo album (during the same set of sessions as Cat And Mouse, Nine Lives and A Man Called Jesus). Eric Leeds added saxophone overdubs to the track on 24 January, 1989, also at Paisley Park Studios (shortly after Prince returned from a trip to London to discuss his participation in the Batman movie, the same day Margie Cox added lead vocal overdubs on Girls Will Be Girls). It is assumed to be a rap track, as Cat wasn't known to sing. The project was abandoned, however, when Cat announced she was moving to England to work with producer Tim Simenon, and the song remains unreleased.
