Clockin’ The Jizz (a.k.a. Clockin’ The Jizz (Instrumental)) is a non-album track released on the maxi-single of Gett Off, the first single from Prince’s thirteenth album Diamonds And Pearls and the first single to be credited to Prince and the New Power Generation. A video of the track was included as the fourth track on the Gett Off home video.
Specific recording dates are not known, but as the track borrows heavily from the music of Gett Off (recorded 10 May 1991), it is likely that the track was recorded in early Summer 1991, most likely at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Despite the title, it is unlikely that a "vocal" version of the track exists; the video version is known only as Clockin’ The Jizz, and is the same recording.
