Country Player is an unreleased song recorded with Milenia. The track was recorded in Summer 2001 (during Milenia’s brief stint as background vocalists for Prince), most likely at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. The song was intended for Milenia’s first album, but it was ultimately not included when it evolved into Our Story released in 2002.
A tape photographed in Prince’s vault at Paisley Park Studios lists it as 27 May 2003 which may indicate that additional work was done on that date.
