Evolsidog is an unreleased track recorded on 23 April 1985 at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California (two days after Life Can Be So Nice and Sometimes It Snows In April, the day after the release of Around The World In A Day, and the day before recording Holly Rock).

It was not intended for Parade, however, and may have been created simply as an experiment. Although no official artist credit has been given to this track, its recording period indicates that its release would have been credited to Prince and the Revolution, so it is credited as such here.

Prince gave the song to Eric Leeds in July 1989 (along with Vibrator, You’re All I Want, My Summertime Thang, Pickle, U Should Be Mine, Wet Dream Cousin, The Max and XYZ) when considering songs for a new Madhouse album (later called 26, which later evolved into Eric Leeds’ solo album Times Squared), presumably to be used as an instrumental; it is not believed that Leeds worked on the track, however.

In 2000, it was listed as one of 22 tracks Prince: A Celebration attendees could vote on for inclusion in the Crystal Ball Volume II release, and was chosen as one of the 17 final selections. The project was ultimately abandoned, however, and the track remains unreleased.

The title itself is a backwards-spelling of God is love, a phrase later used on Anna Stesia.
