I Pledge Allegiance To Your Love is a track recorded at at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, Minnesota on 1 October 1991 (on the same day as Sweet Baby and likely Allegiance). The track was at one point considered for the SymbolSmallerBlue.png album, yet not included on any known configuration.

A different song simply called Allegiance was recorded on the same time-period and, was subsequently given to Howard Hewett and released on his fourth solo studio album (also titled Allegiance).

I Pledge Allegiance To Your Love was released in October 2023 as the ninth track of Vault Tracks part 3, one of the discs with previously unreleased tracks included with the Diamonds And Pearls Super Deluxe Edition. The song was remixed by Chris James in 2022 for use on that collection.
