Lion Of Judah is the ninth track from Prince’s 32nd album Planet Earth.

Basic tracking took place on 4 September 2006 (on the same day as The One U Wanna C), at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota.

In Christian tradition, the Lion of Judah represents Jesus. Prince’s use of the phrase refers to its use in Revelation 5:5, quoted here in the New World Translation, used by Jehovah’s Witnesses (including Prince): "But one of the elders says to me: "Stop weeping. Look! The Lion that is of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has conquered so as to open the scroll and its seven seals.""
