  • Trivia: Little Walter was inspired by the Chambers Brothers’ live version of the traditional song Wade In The Water from their 1969 album Love, Peace and Happiness. Raphael Saadiq (formerly Raphael Wiggins), one of Little Walter co-writers, purchased this Chamber Brothers record on the advice of Prince when he was Sheila E.’s bass-player in her band in mid to late 1986. In a 2021 interview, Saadiq said that "Prince was kind of responsible for giving [me] a little light on that [song] which became Tony ! Toni ! Toné’s first ever single and hit song".
