The song was written by Gwendolyn Woolfolk (a.k.a. Vinnie Barrett). Woolfolk’s daughter is Kamilah Woolfolk, who occasionally danced at Prince shows, mostly in 1997. It is not known if the track was considered for any project at the time or never planned for any album.
