Love In The Morning is an unreleased track recorded in 1977 at Sound 80, Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is one of the few tracks not reworked during the For You album sessions. Nothing else is known about the track, which remains unreleased.
Prince's handwritten notes as used in The Beautiful Ones book released posthumously in 2019 revealed that Love In The Morning was at one point intended to be the eighth of his debut album For You (the final self-penned song, with the album closing with a cover version of Judy Collins' song Send In The Clowns). It is not known if the song was fully recorded in a professional studio, though, and it has not been confirmed that the album was ever actually compiled in this form; it is certainly possible that Prince was simply working through ideas when writing down this tracklist.
