NPG Ahdio Show # 3, the third edition of the NPG Ahdio Show, was released as an mp3 download concurrently with The Daisy Chain, Northside (both by the New Power Generation), Habibi, and The Work Part 1 (all mp3 audio files), as NPG Music Club Edition # 3.

No official artwork is available for this (or any) show.

This edition contains three previously-unreleased tracks, Murph Drag by The Time, All In My Backyard by Milenia , which are not available elsewhere, and Sex Me Sex Me Not, which was available as a separate mp3 file two months later as part of NPG Music Club Edition # 5.

It also contains two unique versions of previously-released tracks, an instrumental version of Superfunkycalifragisexy, and a 1986 live version of America, both of which are not available elsewhere. Five tracks are included without Prince involvement: ITP BY Rhonda Smith, Imagine That and O.K. by Ani DiFranco, All Right by Monodeluxe and All My Lovin’ by Eye Spy.

Twelve NPG Ahdio Segues were included, all of which are unavailable elsewhere.

• This is the shortest of all eleven NPG Ahdio Shows, which drew some complaints, later joked about by Femi Jiya in a skit on a later show.
• Spoken segue # 3 mentions that they would like to include a track by India.Arie, but they are not able to as "she is under contract".
• All In My Backyard was tentatively known as Dandelion previously.
