People Without is an unreleased song played live by Prince in 1988 during two one-off shows. Its first known appearance is in the 19 August 1988 (a.m.): Paard van Troje, the Hague, the Netherlands performance.
Prince wrote the seemingly improvisational lyrics to the song in his hotel room prior to the show. The words 'people without' are repeated throughout and Prince then cites various things about people without [spirituality].
After its first time the song is only known to have been performed one other time, a few days later in another one-off show.
It is not known if, but unlikely that a studio recording of this song was ever made.
