Planet Earth is the first track from Prince's 32nd album Planet Earth.

While specific recording dates are not known, it is likely that initial tracking took place in 2006 or early 2007, most likely at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA (although possibly at either 3121 at The Rio Las Vegas, NV, USA or Circle House Miami, FL, USA). The track features past bandmembers Michael B. on drums and Sonny T. on bass guitar. The album's credits do not indicate who else played on the track, however.
