Lolly Lolly was the second single to be released from Wendy & Lisa’s second ‘solo’ album Fruit At The Bottom. It was released five weeks after the album, and was released in the Europe only.

Lolly Lolly did not originally feature Prince, but the version included here, Lolly Lolly (According To Prince), as its name suggests, was remixed by Prince. The b-side, Hip Hop Love, was previously unreleased but featured no input by Prince.

The single reached number 64 on the UK Gallup Singles Chart. The single was reissued in 1991 by Deconstruction Records, but this reissue did not include Lolly Lolly (According To Prince), and is not listed here.

The remix was later included on the Special Edition of Fruit At The Bottom (Special Edition) in 2011.
