Wouldn’t You Love To Love Me? was the second single to be released from Taja Sevelle’s first album Taja Sevelle.

It was released approximately four and a half months after the album, and was released in the USA, the UK and Europe. The b-side, Baby’s Got A Lover, was also taken from the album, and has no input by Prince.

The 12" single contained various remixes of Wouldn’t You Love To Love Me?.

The single failed to enter the US Billboard Pop Chart, but reached number 61 on the Billboard Black Singles Chart. It fared slightly better in the UK, reaching number 59 on the Gallup Singles Chart.
