Soul Patch is an unreleased song recorded in mid-October 2015, at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. A brief snippet from the track was played during a video to relaunch Prince’s Instagram account (nicknamed "Princestagram"), with the title confirmed soon after on Prince’s Twitter account as a new song. The guitar lick in the song is reminiscent of Soft And Wet

A different 1:55 (instrumental) part of the track is actually played in Studio A for patrons on the Paisley Park Studios tour. Tour guides play it off an iPhone and while it is not identified by title, it is mentioned to be from the last sessions Prince did with MonoNeon, Adrian Crutchfield and Kirk Johnson. This probably means that Soul Patch was intended for the Black Is The New Black album, that Prince was working on before he passed.
