The Prince Estate is the estate of Prince, which has been managing his assets, intellectual property and musical catalogue since his death on 21 April 2016. Since Prince had no will at the time of his death, his Estate was split between six of his siblings, of which only one, Tyka Nelson, was a full sibling. Initially under supervision of the appointed Bremer Trust, the Estate was subsequently managed by Comerica. Three of the heirs sold their shares to an investment company named Primary Wave, who currently owns 49% of shares, with 51% being owned by the remaining heirs. Since 2022, the Estate has been managed by Prince Legacy, with its chairmen L. Londell McMillan and Charles Spicer, Jr.
