The Single Most Amazing is an unreleased track by Prince featuring lead vocals by Rita Ora. The song was planned for inclusion on her sophomore album (along with Ain’t About 2 Stop and Pink Champagne/Champagne Kisses, also written by Prince), originally due in September 2014.
A short snippet of a music video remix of the song was posted on Rita Ora’s YouTube account and promoted on her Twitter account on 10 July 2014. The link was removed within 5 minutes; it was replaced later the same day by another music video snippet posted on Vimeo, this time of a different studio version of the song.
Both music videos consisted of a excerpt of the song, over images from an advertising campaign Rita Ora did for Roberto Cavalli’s Fall / Winter 2014-2015 collection.
While specific recording dates are not known, it is assumed to have been recorded in late 2013 at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota (along with Ain’t About 2 Stop and Pink Champagne/Champagne Kisses, also planned for her second album). The release of Rita Ora’s was postponed several times, then simply canceled following a conflict with her label (Roc Nation). After legal proceedings and signing with Atlantic, Ora was able to release her second album "Phoenix" in 2018 omitting the Prince songs altogether.
