Baby I’m A Star is a Prince and the Revolution video released for broadcast and the first which was not created to promote a single.
The live footage was shot during the 20 November 1984 concert at Capital Centre, Landover, Maryland. The video for I Would Die 4 U is from the same Landover show. There have been no audio-only releases of this performance. With no corresponding single, it be also seen as promotional tools for the Purple Rain Tour.
