[[Black Muse]] was debuted live during the opening night of the [[Welcome 2 America Tour]] on [[15 December, 2010|15 December, 2010, Izod Center, East Rutherford, NJ, USA]], in its only known performance (although the performance included lead vocals by [[Shelby J.]], [[Elisa Dease]] and [[Liv Warfield]] while [[Prince]] was offstage. A studio version is thought to have been recorded in 2010 at [[Paisley Park Studios]], Chanhassen, MN, USA. [[2 Y. 2 D.]] was first recorded in early-to-mid 2011, most likely at [[Paisley Park Studios]]. While the original version was a horn-driven funk version, [[Prince]] and [[3rdEyeGirl]] re-recorded the track in early 2013. It is unclear at this point which version of the song is planned for inclusion, although the other tracks currently announced for inclusion do not feature [[3rdEyeGirl]] and are more horn-driven, so it is likely that the 2011 version is the one used on the album.
