Love’s No Fun is the fifth track on Elisa Fiorillo’s second album, I Am. The track was written by Prince and produced by David Z. Rivkin. Prince also appears as a musician on the track, playing all instruments.

In 1995, a version containing additional recording and vocal overdubs by Mayte was included as the seventh track on Mayte’s first and only album Child Of The Sun, with David Z. Rivkin still credited as producer (as it uses the same basic tracks) and Kirk Johnson listed as co-producer; Prince’s writing credit was listed as , the name he was using at the time.
