Actress Kim Basinger appears on one version of the track providing a cappella singing, indicating that some recording for the track may have taken place in October 1989 (around the time of the recording of The Scandalous Sex Suite), although it's possible her singing was sampled and wasn't originally recorded for this song. Prince and George Clinton worked further on the track together on 20-21 February 1990 at Paisley Park Studios. Clinton took the song back to his studio in Detroit (studio details needed), where he worked on the song further. It is unknown if this song was intended for any project.
