Love’s No Fun is the fifth track on Elisa Fiorillo’s second album, I Am. The track was written by Prince and produced by David Z. Rivkin. Prince also appears as a musician on the track, playing all instruments.

In 1995, a version containing additional recording and vocal overdubs by Mayte was included as the seventh track on Mayte’s first and only album Child Of The Sun, with David Z. Rivkin still credited as producer (as it uses the same basic tracks) and Kirk Johnson listed as co-producer; Prince’s writing credit was listed as , the name he was using at the time.

This same version was included as the seventh track on a 5 May 1995 configuration of Child Of The Sun, where it remained for release, although it was worked on further in Summer 1995 before release. It is not known if the track was included on Mayte’s album Scorpio, which included some tracks from Child Of The Sun.
