Pride And The Passion is the sixth track on Sheila E.’s third album Sheila E.. The track is co-written by Prince and Sheila E., and Prince plays most instruments and produces the track.

Basic tracks were recorded on 26 May 1986 at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California (three days after a one-off show at the Warfield Theatre, San Francisco, CA, USA, and seven days before the release of the single Mountains).
