G-Spot was the second single to be released from Jill Jones’ first album Jill Jones, and was released a few months after the album. G-Spot was written, produced and largely performed by Prince. The b-side, Baby Cries (Ay Yah), was a previously-unreleased track written by Jill Jones and Angie Stone with no input by Prince.
The 12" release also contained a remix of G-Spot by Jimmy Destri, keyboardist and songwriter for the band Blondie.
The single did not enter the charts except in Italy where it reached #39 (more information needed).
