2 Y. 2 D. (short for 2 Young 2 Dare; Too Young To Dare) is a song recorded in early-to-mid 2011, most likely at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA. While the original version was a horn-driven funk version, Prince and 3rdEyeGirl re-recorded the track in early 2013. This version was later described by Prince as "slinky rock".

The original studio version of the track was played by DJ Rashida prior to Prince's DJ set on 19 January, 2013, Dakota Jazz Club & Restaurant, Minneapolis, MN, USA (along with The Breakdown).

In December, 2015 the song was included as the second track on the album Hitnrun Phase Two. As expected the original version appears.

• The song first appeared on a setlist for the third night appearance at the North Sea Jazz Festival concert (11 July, 2011, Ahoy, Rotterdam, the Netherlands) as a mash-up (or interpolation in) Girl, but it was not played live until 2013.
