The Song Of The Heart
(Music video)

Happy Feet is the soundtrack album to the 2006 Warner Bros. animated movie Happy Feet, containing the song The Song Of The Heart, by Prince.

The song is not available on any of Prince’s own studio albums (although a brief live version (as part of a medley) is available on the 2008 live album Indigo Nights).

The soundtrack is notable as it contains the first known release with vocals by Bria Valente, although her background vocals on The Song Of The Heart are uncredited.

The movie soundtrack also contains a medley of Prince’s song Kiss with Elvis Presley’s Heartbreak Hotel, performed by Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, although this does not feature any direct input from Prince.

Promotion

The album didn’t produce any commercial singles, although The Song Of The Heart was available as a promo-only single.

The album reached number 51 on The Billboard 200 chart.
