How Late Do U Have 2BB4UR Absent? is a double studio album by George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars. The album contained Paradigm, co-written and co-produced by , who also appears as a singer and musician on the track (credited as such as it was recorded while Prince used that name).
Recording process
's contribution was most likely recorded in 2000, but this is unconfirmed. George Clinton and worked separately, however, as mentioned by Clinton on a note on the CD label of the Paradigm CD-R single in early 2001. The label stated "I peed on it, sent it to him, he peed on it, and sent it back".
Promotion
The album was preceded by a digital EP, the Sneak Peek EP, featuring three tracks from the album (including Paradigm). Paradigm had been available in a very limited run as a CD-R single previously, however, sold at George Clinton shows in early 2001 (no album was connected to the single at the time of release). The album failed to chart, however.
