Krush Groove is the soundtrack album to the Michael Schultz movie Krush Groove, and was released in September 1985, four weeks before the movie.
The album contains the song Holly Rock, by Sheila E., written by Prince (although credited to Sheila E.), which was not available on any of Sheila E.'s own studio albums.
Sessions and compiling
Prince's contribution, Holly Rock, was recorded in April 1985. Sheila E. also raps on Krush Groovin' but neither she or Prince wrote the lyrics and/or the music.
