Purple Rain Tour  
Prince Sampler (or simply Sampler) is the first promotional compilation album by Prince, available in late 1984 on cassette in Canada, to be played in stores to promote the Canadian leg of the Purple Rain Tour.

The cassette includes ten tracks taken from Dirty Mind, Controversy, 1999 and Purple Rain (Prince had released six albums at that point. His first two albums were not represented on this collection).
