All  Want Is U is the third and final track on Prelude To Támar, a download EP by Támar Davis sold on the multi-level marketing independent music site burnlounge.com. Earlier in 2006, however, it was also included as the second and final track on a promo CD single of Holla & Shout. The song was written and produced by Prince and Támar Davis. In 2019, the song was included as the second track on the Not In The Vault Vol. 1 single.
Basic tracking took place on 18 August 2005, at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota. All Want Is U was recorded in a single take. It was included on Támar’s first album, titled Beautiful, Loved & Blessed; it was included as the ninth track when the album was later renamed Milk & Honey, but the album remains unreleased. It was planned for inclusion on an independently-released album by Támar Davis following the digital EP release, but this album also remains unreleased.
