The track was written by Hal Davis, Don Fletcher and Dean Parks. The version streamed was a rehearsal recorded in late June 2013, at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA, with lead vocals by Shelby J., Elisa Dease and Liv Warfield, with lead guitar by Prince. The rehearsal segues directly into a rehearsal of Partyman. A live version of the medley from 30 June 2013 (a.m.) at City Winery Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, USA was also streamed on a 3rdEye TV Show in 2013.
